Mushroom greenhouse and lemon tree nursery to be built in Turkmenistan

The first greenhouse for growing mushrooms is under construction in the north of Turkmenistan.

The website “Turkmenistan: golden age” reports that the construction project is being carried out by Turkmenistan’s Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists.

A lemon tree nursery is scheduled to be built within the framework of the state-supported import substitution program.

It has transpired that bananas are grown in Turkmenistan with the first crops expected to be harvested in December.

Within the framework of the import substitution program, the greenhouse to grow rootstock of ornamental trees and flowers was opened in January 2018 in Turkmenistan.
