Bangor’s Shelby Howell named Miss Maine USA

PORTLAND, Maine - Bangor native Shelby Howell has officially been named Miss Maine USA.
Howell won the two-day competition held at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland and will represent Maine at Miss USA.
“I’m so excited, especially since I’ve gotten to know Anne Baldridge. I’ve heard such amazing things about her year and it just makes me even more excited for all the opportunities,”
Jordon Hudson, the girlfriend of former Patriots coach Bill Belichick, came in third place, as the second runner-up.
Monson’s Isabelle St. Cyr, who was the first transgender woman to compete in the pageant, finished in the top 10.
