Photos/Videos: Bermuda PowWow In St David’s

The St. David’s Islanders and Native Community are holding their Bermuda PowWow — “a celebration of our ancestors” — this weekend at St. David’s County Cricket Club.

A spokesperson previously said, “This year’s Powwow promises to be a vibrant celebration of Bermuda’s deep-rooted connections with Native American communities from the U.S. East Coast, particularly New England.

“Additionally, the Wampanoag Nation Singers & Dancers will present interactive performances representing the Aquinnah, Mashpee, and Herring Pond communities. The Warwick Gombeys will also showcase the Indigenous influences in Bermudian tradition, adding a unique local flavour to the event.”
