The Nevada Division of State Parks will hold Free Adventure Day on Saturday, June 14. Entrance fees will be waived at all state parks.
Free Adventure Day coincides with the Nevada Department of Wildlife’s Free Fishing Day, when anyone can fish in Nevada’s waters without a fishing license.
“Free Adventure Day is a great opportunity for Nevadans and out-of-state visitors to discover the sites and recreational opportunities in our state parks,” Bob Mergell, administrator for Nevada State Parks, said in a news release. “Whether you’re hiking, boating, picnicking, or enjoying nature, we hope everyone will take advantage of this special day.”
Visitors are encouraged to check the state parks events calendar for a full list of events. While entrance fees are waived Saturday, camping, reservation and all other fees still apply.
