A tribute has been paid to a Teesside couple who died within days of each other.
The “treasured” grandmother and grandfather sadly passed away surrounded by family within the space of three days in May. Families of a 105-year-old solider, a 35-year-old ‘mummy’ and a former police superintendent have also penned beautiful words for their loved ones.
Each week we pay tribute to the loved ones remembered in our area with a funeral notice and online tribute page. To read the latest announcements and add tributes to those from our area who have passed away, or to create a funeral notice yourself, click here . Alternatively, you can create a notice by calling our helpful team on 01482 908084.

Sylvia Caroline Pink

A Light That Shines Beyond A sister-in-law, so full of grace, Your gentle touch, your warm embrace. Though you are gone, you're never far, You're in the moon, the sun, the star. In every memory, you will live, In all the love you gave, you'd give. Your laughter echoes through the years, A melody that calms our fears. The moments shared, the times we'd smile, Though we're apart, you're with us still. Your kindness planted seeds that grew, Now bloom in hearts that think of you. The world may seem a little dim, But in our hearts, your light won't dim. For love like yours, it has no end, It lives, it lasts, it will transcend. Deepest sympathy to Brian and family, also to the Wilkinson family. Sleep tight Sylvia. Love from Christine, Kenny & Family xxx
