UNITED STATES – The Philadelphia 76ers fanbase had an opportunity to officially meet their new number 77 on the roster – and now, a new “Process” begins in the City of Brotherly Love.

VJ Edgecombe and fellow rookie Johni Broome were introduced to media members at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Edgecombe joins a deep 76ers backcourt led by All-Stars Tyrese Maxey and Paul George, along with last year’s first-round pick, Jared McCain.

While his story captivated millions on draft night, Edgecombe said his mindset has already shifted to the business of basketball.

CHISHOLM FOLLOWS EJECTION WITH HOME RUN

Jazz Chisholm Jr. had the perfect response to his ejection earlier this week against the Cincinnati Reds – home run number 11.

Chisholm helped to prevent the sweep with a two-run home run in the Yankees’ 7-1 win in the third and final game of the series.

It turns out Chisholm’s ejection was prompted by former Yankees teammate Jose Trevino, now a member of the Reds.

After an off day yesterday, the Yankees return to the field tonight to open a new series against the Athletics.

TEAM BAHAMAS SET FOR NACAC AGE GROUP CHAMPS

The Bahamas is once again looking forward to being contenders at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Age Group Championships.

The U13 boys are Antonio Hanna and Aiden Knowles.
Symiah Strachan and Jaze Johnson will represent the U15 girls, while Emmile Higgins and Justin Shepherd will compete for the U15 boys.

The team will be coached by Neketa Sears-Knowles with assistant coach Sharon Francis.
