REALLY? WE’RE TALKING INTO THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. SO WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT IT DEVELOPS INTO A DEPRESSION OR SOMETHING TROPICAL? 20% OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS? AGAIN, 0% THE NEXT TWO DAYS. THERE’S REALLY NOT MUCH OUT THERE IN THE GULF. BUT WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN IS A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL KIND OF STALL HERE. AND THEN WITH ALL THE HOT WATERS, WE COULD SEE AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MATERIALIZE. SO THIS IS SOMETHING WE’RE REALLY WATCHING WILL BE A BIG RAINMAKER SHOULD IT HAPPEN EITHER WAY, PRETTY MUCH FOR THE TROP FOR THE WEEKEND. SO GET READY FOR IT. WE’VE BEEN UNSETTLED. WE KNEW WE HAD TO CATCH UP WITH ALL THE RAIN AND THAT WE ARE, BUT NOTHING ON FIRST WARNING RADAR TODAY. TODAY WILL BE ONE OF THE BETTER DAYS GOING FORWARD AND THEN WE’LL SEE SOME IMPACT WEATHER ARRIVE STARTING TOMORROW. MEANWHILE, TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE LOWER 70S ON THE TREASURE COAST, HEADING THROUGH THE PALM BEACHES RIGHT NOW AT 77 DEGREES 82 IN HIGHLAND BEACH, 80 IN BOCA.       Barry made landfall as a tropical depression on the east coast of Mexico Sunday night.According to the National Hurricane Center, Barry dissipated over eastern Mexico, but heavy rain is still expected throughout the day. As of the 5 a.m. advisory, remnants of Barry were located about 100 miles northeast of Tampico, Mexico. It was moving northwest at 12 mph with 30 mph maximum sustained winds. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
