Veteran Nollywood Actor Tom Njemanze Appeals for Financial Help Amid Cancer Battle

Veteran Nigerian actor Tom Njemanze has called on members of the public to assist him financially as he battles prostate cancer.
In a viral video shared online on Tuesday, Njemanze—who is currently hospitalized—made a passionate plea for support to enable him undergo urgent surgery.

The video was shared by filmmaker Stanley Ontop via Instagram, where he revealed the actor’s condition and appealed for donations.
“Hello guys, one of our Nollywood legends is sick and needs urgent surgery,” Ontop wrote. “Sir Tom Njemanze has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and he needs your support to undergo surgery. Nothing is too small, fams. Help our legend live again.”
Njemanze is widely known for his roles in iconic Nollywood films such as Issakaba, Tokunboh, Atosa, Pounds and Dollars, Osuofia in London, Igbotic Love, and Brain Box.
His appeal comes just months after another veteran actor, John Amaefule, also reached out for public support while battling a partial stroke and cancer.
Fans, colleagues, and well-wishers are being urged to contribute whatever they can to support the ailing actor in his time of need.
